The character of Thomas King is back in Emmerdale but the eagle-eyed among you will likely have noticed a major difference.
He also dated Belle despite their families being against the romance, leading to a plan to run away together. Eventually he changed his mind and left without her and hasn't been seen since.Since his return, Thomas has begun to get close to Belle again while there’s also a suggestion he might be hiding a sinister secret. That will likely come out in the fullness of time.
Early career Ahead of his role in Emmerdale, Mark Flanagan appeared in Holby City and BBC children’s drama The Story of Tracy Beaker. He also had a part in Jimmy McGovern’s drama series Accused. Mark was then cast in Emmerdale where he played the role of Thomas King for 45 episodes. This resulted in Thomas nicking a campervan and fleeing the village. It eventually transpired he’d caught a flight to Saudi Arabia to be with his mother.
