Blossom Music Center to get $10 million for improvements, operations thanks to Maltz Family Foundation’s gift to Cleveland Orchestra

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio -- Blossom Music Center is getting a big boost in the form of a $10 million gift the Milton and Tamar Maltz Family Foundation, the Cleveland Orchestra announced on Thursday. The orchestra has called Blossom its summer home since opening in 1968.

“We are extremely grateful for Milton and Tamar Maltz’s incredible gift,” said Cleveland Orchestra president and CEO André Gremillet in a release. “Blossom Music Center plays an integral role in the Cleveland Orchestra’s history and provides a welcoming environment for music lovers of all ages. Through this gift, that tradition will continue as we work to enhance this one-of-a-kind venue to exceed the expectations of our guests and expand to new audiences.
