Very sad to lose yet another 20th century achiever in Music.

Very sad indeed. Another lost great 20th century creative. Alas. They did prevail no matter what. Now we rise to their leavings - our priceless freedoms.. Call and responce. Ever so. Ever so.

Met him in '12 at Bristol's Watershed. He was interviewed after a film screening - think it was Thomas Crown Affair. Later that evening we saw him in concert with his then wife (a harpist). Think I may have got him to autograph my ticket. A very quiet, humble man. MichelLegrand
