RTE Late Late Show presenter Ryan Tubridy shocked the nation when he announced he will be stepping down from the role next month.

Speculation has been rife about who will replace Ryan, with a long list of presenters emerging as possible contenders. The bookies suspended the market in recent weeks after being overwhelmed with support for Claire Byrne - but following speculation around Patrick Kielty this week, they have reopened the book.Claire Byrne remains the 1/2 favourite, but Patrick Kielty is hot on her heels with his odds dramatically tumbling from 50/1 into 2/1.

Brendan O’Connor and Tommy Tiernan, who are both no strangers to chat show hosting duties are now tied at 18/1, while Doireann Garrihy is sitting at 20/1 to take over the Late Late Show gig.
