New Alien Movie: Release Date, Cast, Story Details & Everything We Know

The upcoming Alien sequel marks the sixth entry in the hugely popular sci-fi franchise, and much has been announced about the cast, story, release date, and more. Based on Ridley Scott's 1973 movie, the Alien series primarily followed the adventures of Ellen Ripley, a Warrant Officer who survived multiple encounters with the deadly Xenomorphs and their countless variants; she fights for humanity and sacrifices her freedom to bring the creatures under control.

New Alien Movie Confirmed The existence of Alien’s upcoming sequel was officially announced in March 2022, when it was also revealed that Hulu would be releasing the project exclusively on their streaming platforms. It was described as a sequel that’s separate from every other movie in the Alien franchise, probably not relating to either the original series or the prequel trilogy.

New Alien Movie Release Date Info There isn’t an official release date for the upcoming Alien sequel yet, but if production runs smoothly, there’s no reason it couldn’t be ready by the summer of 2024. The script is presumably finished, and the cast has already started filming, so the process is already well underway, and releasing in the summer would be a hugely beneficial move to draw in more viewers.

The Alien sequel later cast Instant Family’s Isabela Merced in an undisclosed role, with the latter additions including David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu. While the cast doesn’t yet include many Hollywood stars like Prometheus or Alien: Covenant, these actors have all provided impressive work that proves how capable and engaging these performances should be.
