Daredevil: Born Again is officially bringing Jon Bernthal's Punisher back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he might not be exactly the same as when he was last seen in Netflix's Defenders Saga. The gun-toting vigilante's MCU debut has been both highly anticipated and dreaded for years, amidst certain concerns about whether or not Marvel would tone down the character's more violent nature.
4 The MCU May Take A Different Approach To The Punisher's Violence The Punisher's MCU return may not be as violent as some might have hoped. After the brutal murder of Frank Castle's family, the angry war veteran declared war on organized crime and was willing to go to the extreme in order to stamp out those who prey on the innocent.
It is no secret that the MCU prefers to keep things light. While the franchise's fun and carefree tone has worked in many projects, others, like Thor: Love and Thunder, have suffered as a result. While it would be unreasonable to assume that Marvel Studios has any inclination to turn the Punisher into a comedic character, his story may not be as gloomy as it once was. Frank Castle's exploits can still deal with heavy subjects but may have happier endings than in previous incarnations.
now he is punishing white men people who don't agree with trans rights, diversity, inclusion, and brainwashing children
