The Marvel Cinematic Universe Blade movie has just received its biggest update in four years. Things are starting to look good for Blade, the MCU movie that came together because of the desire of its leading man. Originally not on Marvel Studios' slate, Blade entered development after two-time Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali reached out to Marvel Studios' president, Kevin Feige, to express his interest in playing Blade in the MCU.

Blade was then moved by Marvel from November 2023 to a September 2024 release, with Blade's filming reportedly aiming for a May start.
Blade having a burgeoning horror icon in its ranks is fantastic, as the movie will delve into the supernatural tale of Ali's vampire hunter, exploring a new corner of the MCU that has only been touched upon by Disney+'s Werewolf by Night Special Presentation so far.
Who Mia Goth Could Play In The MCU's Blade Movie There are a plethora of Marvel characters from the supernatural side of the comics that have still to be adapted in the MCU. Goth could be playing a number of them, but her potential role as the villain Lilith, an ancient demon goddess, could be the best choice. Lilith was recently the villain of the game Marvel's Midnight Suns, which included Marvel's premiere supernatural team with Blade in its ranks.
