My wife has regular Botox injections around her head, including her forehead for medical rather than cosmetic reasons. Certainly has had no experiences to support this idea.
We construct our emotions and therefore how we perceive others based on the physical reaction we experience in different situations. Change the bodies physical reaction to stimuli and it changes our perception of emotion.
You sure it isn't that people who are bad at reading emotions might be drawn to botox? How you gonna control for that in a study?
