Yeah and I’m fort Mac, they must scan your shit at the depot that they “attempted delivery” and never even bother coming to your house or even leaving the card. Last parcel I had “out for delivery” had camera recording all day. No one ever came near, yet my parcel got scanned..
Happens all the time, I work from home and it pisses me off when I open the door to a canadapostcorp note from the delivery person, “Sorry, we missed you...” you didn’t even knock jackass! canadaposthelps
I live in a multi-resident building. CP workers will not take time to walk to my apartment even after I have buzzed them in.
It might help if the worker had to record his/her identity on the notice - there is no accountability at present.
Depends on the package. If an email was sent for signature confirmation before delivery and a reply was sent saying no one will be home, a slip is given. Get with the times CTV.

That’s been happening for years!! CP is the worst.
Workers who are paid to deliver packages can get away with just handing out slips. Canada post knows full well if every package that went out, comes back in. Does he get fired? No. He's probably promoted based on how quickly he gets back.
Exactly the same happened to 2x not that long ago: 2 people were home, but no bell ringing or door knocking.
They should deliver after 5. Everyone works during the day. Who answers the door?
This happens a lot of the time. I had a carrier bring the slip and stick it on my door and was upset when I opened the door and asked for the package. He left it in the truck and said it would be “easier” if I went to the post office to pick it up the next day after 5pm
Maybe you should send somebody to spend a day with one of them to see what their day looks like.
canadapost did the same for ours as well. They are known for this. Just stop using them and problem will be solved.
