The Doctor Who star, 51, and the former EastEnders actor, 45, are teaming up for the on-screen adaptation of the second book in author Jilly Cooper's Rutshire Chronicles. The series will bring a “2020s lens to the 1980s” as the story follows the affluent elite in 1980s Britain.
The Broadchurch actor was snapped wearing a suit with a black bowtie, as he was wrapped up in a long puffer coat on set of the series. Filming is said to have taken place at a 16th century country house in Gloucestershire, reports the Mirror. It teased that the plot of the show will centre on a long-standing rivalry between two powerful men in the form of Tony - who's played by David - and Rupert Campbell-Black.
