Beautiful Boy review – screamingly cliched view of drug addictionSteve Carell and Timothée Chalamet play father and son in a film based on a true story hampered by its white-privilege viewpoint You are not a drug or alcohol addict until rectal dosing no longer seems unusual. Getting on my last damn nerve the negative cynical reviews on this film, when I see addiction charities and orgs raving about it. Cliches are cliches for a reason. Just thought it worth mentioning.
