Along with TLC and Shaggy, the Blossom tour stop will feature fellow ‘90s pop stars En Vogue and young singer-rapper Sean Kingston.
Both TLC and Shaggy rose to fame in the ‘90s. TLC - the Atlanta-based trio of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas - were one of the leading groups of the R&B and hip-hop surge coming out of “Hotlanta.” The trio’s hits including “No Scrubs,” “Waterfalls,” and “Creep” were dance-floor staples and R&B and pop-radio anthems. Lopes died in 2002, and the surviving members continued as a duo.
Shaggy also came to prominence in the ‘90s with Jamaican dancehall-infused tunes such as “It Wasn’t Me,” with Rikrok, “Boombastic” and “Angel” with Rayvon. His tunes have been featured in several movies and commercials and in 2018, Shaggy teamed with Sting for the album “44/876″ which won a 2019 Grammy for best Reggae Album.
