T-Mobile will pay $1.35 billion, through 39% cash and 61% stock, to acquire the brand, according to the statement. Reynolds, an owner and spokesman for Mint Mobile who starred in the provider’s commercials “will continue on in his creative role,” the announcement read.

Mintmobile customer here. My $40/unlimited data plan here in Greenville, South Carolina has been great. Service is just as good as a major provider. It’s pretty clear that the “$90/mo single line” data plans are arguably a scam at this point.

Thankfully there’s no contract for mint customers to continue using it. and Ryan Reynolds’s just lost some fans among the little people.
I love that Ryan turned his movie millions into billions by putting in the work being an entrepreneur. He has bought/founded several businesses, put good leaders in place, created great advertising campaigns, and sold when he reached a threshold he was happy with.
