At the opening of the noontime show, Ogie Alcasid congratulated Navarro and asked for his statement.'I keep on praying every day that hopefully, what I am going through will be over. There were times when I thought I had lost hope when I was inside [the jail], but I never stopped praying. Now the Supreme Court has heard our prayers. My case is now resolved,' Navarro said in Filipino.The 46-year-old went on to thank the Supreme Court, his legal team and his home network ABS-CBN.
'In a 43-page decision published online Monday, the tribunal dismissed the charge of rape pending before the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69 and the charge of acts of lasciviousness before the Taguig Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 116.
