Liam Neeson reacts to Irish Oscars results as he jets into Dublin for premiere

Hollywood star Liam Neeson has said he was surprised to see no wins for the cast of The Banshees of Inisherin.

The Northern Irishman said that even though he didn’t watch the Oscar’s, he was proud of Ireland’s record breaking 14 nominations. Speaking at the Dublin red carpet premiere of Neil Jordan’s Marlowe, he said at the Stella Theatre: “I didn’t watch them. I’m very proud of the fact that we had 14 nominations.”“I was too,” he said. “I loved the film.
