'We never lived together before we were married and we often spend time apart now because of work'

Due to their hectic schedules in the showbiz industry, Pauline and Richard can often spend time apart - but the Mrs Doyle actress says they make this work because they have never known any different. "During the first lockdown, both of us were in Dublin and we got on great being together all of the time. I know some couples found it difficult but we genuinely never annoyed each other. It was kind of like a honeymoon in a way!"

"I’ve started to do aqua aerobics in a local gym. When there isn’t a class in the morning, I’ll go for a swim, maybe a dozen or so lengths. I’m trying to get a bit fitter, definitely. "I think probably because of the milestone 60th and now because I’ve lost both my mam and dad, out of curiosity, I might go get a bit of a health check done," she continues.
