Jay Leno brings his brand of funny to Silver Creek Event Center for one performance March 17 at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo.
“But hey, this Four Winds show is on St. Patrick’s Day. I’m sure people might have a drink or two to celebrate, but not too much I hope. I don’t want them to miss any of the jokes.”Leno was back in Chicagoland with his stand-up comedy shows a year ago, with March 2022 dates at both the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan and Paramount Theatre in Aurora the same weekend, with the latter show rescheduled from 2020 due to the pandemic.
Leno’s superstar comedy career and iconic late night television talk show timeline history on NBC were not accidents, but just the opposite, the result of years of hard work playing small clubs and whirlwind travel dates to gain name and face recognition. “For someone who travels as much as I do, the idea of paying to stay in a hotel as part of being on a vacation isn’t anything I’m interested in, especially when I could be home enjoying my time,” Leno said.
