The independent movie, which has grossed more than $100 million at the box office, took home seven trophies.

Three of last year’s highest-grossing releases won an Academy Award, proof that you can produce a global blockbuster that’s actually well-made.costume designer, became the first Black woman to win multiple statuettes.
