Rare seabirds on the coast of East Yorkshire face threats from climate change, the RSPB says.

The challenges faced by British seabirds including puffins featured in the first episode of Sir David Attenborough's new seriesPuffins at Bempton Cliffs in East Yorkshire have been affected by threats to their nests, food supply and climate change, according to the RSPB.

He said the UK's puffin population was predicted to reduce by 90% by 2050 if global temperatures continued to rise. The RSPB says rising sea temperatures mean the fish that rare birds feed on swim deeper in search of cooler waters, making it more difficult for birds to find them.

Attenborough's carbon footprint is embarrassing.

Is Richard Sharp a puffin?

Is this the one that has been censored by the BBC/Conservative party for exposing the damage we currently doing to the UK?

are the tory mortgage brokers still on his back?

Is this the David Attenborough that you guys just cancelled because of Tory donor pressure ?

Will the Tories let you show it, you bunch of right wing nodding dogs?

Jeez, even the puffins have a 'plight'. Will they take industrial action ?

This needs to be banned for being offensive towards Tories. Saying puffins are having a hard time without the Tories being given a right to reply obviously breaks impartiality rules. A warning this time should be sufficient. But next time they're offended arrests will be made.

Why are these shíts still in post?

He should be banned from the BBC Puffins have red feet and are therefore left leaning. The Conservative party remains highly sensitive to anything on the other side of the political divide and BBC management needs to be badgered by several dozen Tory MPs in order to effect this

Those criminal black headed gulls , stealing our puffins fish .

Has Rishi Sunak approved this tweet? Jokers

The people are the puffins, and the Tories are the black headed gulls.

BBC liars. Lost all credibility and impartiality.

Ah yes, the series where the only 5/6 publicly funded episodes are allowed to be shown to the public? The 6th episode that has genuine truths about habitat destruction? Ya too spicy for Boris Broadcasting Corporation?

Uk is overpopulated nature depleted country it’s going get worse

Show episode 6 you cowards

Did you get permission from the Conservative party?

Drinking game....take a swig every time he mentions 'climate change'. The last person to die of alcohol poisoning wins.

Thought they'd all be dead by now with that dreaded flu.

Roald Dahl's revenge...

Is the Tory party allowing you to show this one?

The one you're censoring?

Is this the one you're not going to broadcast because you fear it'll upset the Tories and right wingers in general?
