One of Ohio State’s second-year receivers suffered an injury setback on the first day of spring practice.
Burton is one of four second-year receivers who are looking to make a move up the depth chart and earn playing time this spring after a quiet freshman year. Burton was the only one of those four receivers who did not play any snaps as a true freshman, but he had his black stripe removed in December and drew praise for his progression before the Peach Bowl from former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud.
Wasn't he already injured last year too?
GET RID OF THE FUCKING TURF
The medical staff and strength and conditioning need a reboot. These kids don't deserve this.
And just like that, Buckeye football is back.
And OSU will continue to use slit turf that has been banned in the NFL due to injuries being more common on said turf when compared to other styles of turf. Last season was one of the worst seasons for injuries in OSU history, 1st year with new turf. . Coincidence? I think not.
UCLA basketball player, Jaylen Clark, said the exact same thing on Saturday night and it was an achilles injury. Would LOVE to be wrong.
Someone needs to look into the medical staff/strength and conditioning(which I always thought were top notch). Last year was ridiculous and here we are already. Is the turf in the Woody the same as the new turf at the stadium?
That’s one way to remove yourself from getting in the rotation
Well if it was a pop in his knee that’s no bueno and sounds like an ACL. I hope it was elsewhere and also not his achilles
Oh that's the worst.
So it begins
