Namor actor Tenoch Huerta also wants to know what the Talokan king was doing during Avengers: Infinity War. The two epic Avengers films used to close out the Infinity Saga featured events that completely changed the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so much so that new projects cannot escape questions about it. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is no different in this regard.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY One of the biggest questions raised by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever came through the introduction of Namor. The powerful new MCU villain was revealed to have been around for hundreds of years, meaning he was ruling Talokan throughout the Infinity Saga's storyline. But since Black Panther: Wakanda Forever demonstrated the lengths he would go to as a ruler to protect his people, Namor not fighting Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War became a lingering question.
That question was in my mind when I received the [Black Panther: Wakanda Forever] script for the first time. I was like, okay, but, what happened before? I'm pretty sure the big bosses have the answers.Namor's MCU Future Could Reveal His Infinity War Experience Tenoch Huerta might not have the answer for what Namor was doing during Avengers: Infinity War, but his MCU future could reveal more.
This would allow Marvel Studios to revisit The Snap and show what it was like for Namor and the rest of Talokan. Marvel could confirm theories about the underwater people becoming more willing to explore the surface world as a result of half their people disappearing. These theories connect to everything from Steve Rogers seeing a whale in New York to Avengers: Endgame's underwater earthquakes mention.
Answers about what Namor was doing in Avengers: Infinity War and why he did not fight Thanos could come in several ways. It could be revealed in the future that Namor was one of Thanos' snap victims. This might make the most sense, as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever presents him as a king who would go searching for answers about what happened to his people.
