Sinéad told host Dáithí O' Sé that she had an important birthday recently and now that she has reached the age of fifty, she was open for some change.

Sinéad Clifford, 50, took part in the RTE show's weekly makeover with some amazing results after she was nominated by her work colleague, Margaret Whyte, from the Galway Centre for Independent Living.

READ MORE: Una Healy takes to Instagram to warn of fake accounts using her name trying to scam people Sinéad grew up between Clarinbridge and Oranmore in Co Galway but as a family, they spend a lot of time in Cork too as it is where her Dad is from - but he happily moved to Galway after meeting his wife.

Pamela Morrissey of Sobe Brown transformed Sinéad's hair, after a lot of persuasion on taking off some length and helped to shape it around her face and coloured it too.
