The Super Mario Bros. Movie cast hilariously pranks Jack Black into wearing a Bowser costume on a talk show. The latest adaptation of the Nintendo video game franchise is from Illumination, the same animation studio responsible for Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets, and Sing. The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which releases in theaters on April 5, features an ensemble voice cast led by Chris Pratt as the titular plumber who must defeat the dragon turtle known as Bowser, voiced by Black.

Pratt's casting as Mario has received much criticism because of the actor's non-Italian background. Once The Super Mario Bros. While this conversation has seemed to dominate the discussion surrounding The Super Mario Bros.
