Your mid-week movies on TV menu has arrived

Here in JOE, we still consider this to be the best Marvel movie to date. The first Steve Rogers sequel infuses some Cold War political intrigue into the world of huge explosions and super kicks off the sides of floating air bases. Anthony Mackie, Scar-Jo, Samuel L. Jackson and Sebastian Stan all bring great support, but Chris Evans remains the stand out.Messy title aside , this"unrated" version of the Jackass-but-in-old-man-make-up sketch comedy movie is still quite funny in places.

We'd also consider this sci-fi/action/thriller about a crime-ridden future and a Detroit cop who is given a severe tech upgrade to help fight back against the criminals.Jim Broadbent and Timothy Spall star in Mike Leigh's musical period drama about a playwright and a composer who join forces to create one of the most popular comic operas of all time. With a score of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, this brilliant drama tells the story of a transgender waitress who gets involved with an older man.
