The state needs to stop shoving Irish down peoples throats. It's been compulsory throughout all of primary & secondary school since the foundation of the state. 9% of the population speak Irish on a regular basis. The people have spoken. Get over it!

Teach conversational Irish only in primary school. It will become second nature for the kids making second level Irish much easier to grasp
