Christina Applegate has emotionally bid a fond farewell to fans at this year’s SAG Awards ceremony as she revealed that she feared this year’s red carpet may be her “last awards show as an actor” amid her ongoing battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Both mother and daughter opted for matching outfits as they posed for photos, with Christina channelling some old school glamour in a black velvet tuxedo-style gown, red lipstick and her golden blonde tresses in loose waves. Despite missing the win, Christina could still be seen and heard cheering on her fellow actress as she picked up the award, with the star joyfully cheering and raising her arms in celebration for the worthy winner.
The Dead to Me star was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis while working on the show back in August 2021.
