The Island Jubilee will launch on Feb. 26 and run through until June. The inaugural show is free to the public as part of the Illumination Festival and will feature country pop duo Ava and Lily, country singer Keira Loane and step-dancing champion Molly MacEwen.
Each bi-weekly show features a roster of Island musicians supported by an all-star band, along with storytelling, comedy and step dancing, including country, folk, Maritime, bluegrass and old-time fiddle music. The second half shines a spotlight on a feature artist, storyteller or comic with closing numbers from each roster artist, a gospel segment and a sing-along grand finale.
