BAFTAs presenter Richard E Grant has said he "felt bad" for Colin Farrell at the awards ceremony after he failed to take home the top prize.

The Irish actor is still in the running for an Oscar next month and he remains a favourite to win Best Actor.Grant, who hosted the BAFTAs in London on Sunday, said he thought Colin Farrell was a "dead cert" to win in the category. Speaking to Ray D'Arcy on RTE Radio One on Tuesday, Grant said: "In the fear of committing careericide, when I saw the nominations I knew that I know most or have worked with most of them. That helps a lot.
