Entertainment calendar: Cory Morrow headed to Dosey Doe

London-based The Kingdom Choir will perform at 8 p.m. on Feb. 25 at The Centrum. Tickets start at $35.

Featuring more than a dozen members, the choir drew international attention in 2018 when it performed at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The concert consists of traditional gospel classics and popular contemporary music. The performance is presented by the Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment.Outstanding Women:

North Harris County American Association of University Women presents its annual Outstanding Women Awards Luncheon starting at 10 a.m. on Feb. 25 at Shirley Acres’ Garden Room. The event will honor Julie Hinaman, who has served on the CyFair ISD board of trustees since 2019, and Gloria Aldridge, who has been a coordinator of the Northwest Harris County Martin Luther King birthday celebration for 30 years. The keynote speaker is Dr. Maria Elena Bottazzi, a microbiologist who with Dr. Peter Hotez formulated a COVID vaccine that was licensed for free around the world.
