Ex-Apex Legends and Titanfall leads have announced the formation of a new studio, Wildlight Entertainment.

had been in the works for Apex Legends, but was cancelled this month.and Apex Legends lead designer Carlos Peneda, design director Jason McCord, art director Jose Zavala, environment art director Robert Tuabe, lead technical artist Michael Cook and several others.

“We are a new, fully-funded entertainment studio hyper-focused on creating big, bold, original gaming universes of epic quality and scale,” reads a message on the team’s “We’ve been quietly working on a new IP for some time, and while it’ll be a bit before we can say more, we’re beyond excited for what’s to come.”

lol, the splinter studio now has a splinter studio, even with some of the same people that splintered the last time.

Watch them make a Titanfall-like game that just blows everyone’s minds, exactly the way Respawn did when they left Infinity Ward. The cycle continues.

Man this studio has legends like Muhammad Alavi,Jason McCord and Chad Grenier who all have created COD , Titanfall and Apex Legends together. They can do amazing things together.
