Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead.

This is so tragic. Unlike Alzheimer’s, which usually causes profound memory loss (& other things), FTD usually more affects behavior (not in a good way) and language skills. The caregiver toll is unimaginable.
