Steve Coogan is set to star in an adaptation of the bestselling memoir The Penguin Lessons for production company 42. Oscar-nominee Peter Cattaneo will direct.

COLLIDER VIDEO OF THE DAY Coogan is a mainstay in the British comedy scene, famous for playing hapless media personality Alan Partridge in a number of productions, and for The Trip series of comedies, in which he and Rob Brydon play fictionalized versions of themselves on scenic restaurant tours. He received great acclaim for 2013's Philomena, which he co-wrote, produced, and starred in, netting him Oscar nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture.
