Father Ted legend Pauline McLynn has made a promise to be more conscious of her health after losing both of her parents to strokes.
She told RSVP Live: “I turned 60 last year, not in my head which is a good thing, but the rest of me… I can tell some bits are 60 years old! She told us: “My cat is having blood tests on Friday. She gets yearly tests because she has a thyroid problem. Candidly opening up about her parents' deaths, Pauline said that while her mum and dad both suffered strokes, they had completely different experiences.
“A vessel burst on her brain and once it had happened that was it, she had a very gentle passing after that. She just slipped away, she wasn’t in much pain.”
