It’s not exactly a heart-shaped box of chocolates but horror movie fans are in for a treat this Valentine’s Day. | SaltWire

Kenny Caperton, an American horror film buff whose company On Set Cinema organizes tours of famous film locations, has set up two special screenings of “My Bloody Valentine,” as well a walking tour of key filming locations. Caperton is such a dedicated horror movie fan that he lives in an exact replica of the house Michael Myers grew up in the “Halloween” franchise. Contributed - ccSYDNEY MINES, N.S.

Kenny Caperton, an American horror film buff whose company On Set Cinema organizes tours of famous film locations, has set up two special screenings of the movie in Sydney Mines at the Royal Canadian Legion on Feb. 11 and Feb. 14. There will be walking tours of the town where fans can visit key filming locations and the Feb. 11 event will feature actor Peter Cowper who starred as the killer Harry Warden. Cowper, who grew up in Nova Scotia, will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans with all money raised going to charity. There will also be music and a special Bloody Valentines drink menu at the bar. There is an option for a meal at the Feb. 14 event.
