In that context, the entire increase in spending proposed by Trudeau over 10 years on Tuesday, would pay for our existing health-care system for seven months of one year.Article content Trudeau’s proposal falls short of what the premiers were asking for — increasing the federal portion of health-care funding from 22% to 35%, or by $28 billion annually.

No yuu are correct as well and if we all get behind it and support it can saved! Personally like Preston Manning wanted a User fee and would have Worked and could be done today! It would have made everyone part of Health plan and money cxould have donevgreat things!

politians don't have solutions, they just throw money at the problems then walk away

It might be if you resign.

Easy to fix but the Premiers stole a lot of the funds under cover of the Pandemic. If that money was put into health care like it was supposed to there would not be this problem

'Canada, which has one of the most expensive universal health-care systems in the developed world, also has some of the longest medical wait times.'

Let's hope the extra $$ gets spent to deliver private healthcare to Cdns. That's how Cdns will get the biggest bang for the buck for every incremental $$.

Who listens to a communist.

Not a supply problem,a supply-DEMAND problem. Reducing relentless, unsuppliable new demand for health care services & housing due to Trudeau's worse-than-reckless, unabsorbable 500k/yr immig. would give some crucial relief.Craven politicians fear calling out Trudeau on immig.EVIL

Firing every single member of upper management that let it get to this state in the first place over the past 20 years would be a great start. Can't move forward with those chains deeply entrenched in our socialized system.

DUHHHHHH

This is just, being noticed!! The Public Sector Unions, cannot wait, to STRIKE, to get a big piece of the pie!

The money is a ruse -“…some of increased federal cash go to specific areas…IMPROVING DATA COLLECTION ...” Fed. Health Minister“…there must be conditions ….“INCLUDING MODERNIZING HEALTH DATA COLLECTION. This is how Saskatchewan has responded….how will Ontario respond?

Good leadership will….unfortunately we lack at all levels with that….

It's difficult to ask the kids to develop their career in medical.

You can't throw money at a problem and expect to fix it. It's how you spend the money you have that will fix the problem.

Resigning would help

New Prime Minister might.

Talk big do nothing 😂

Either will Trudeau..

Gross bastard 🤮🤮🤮

Public healthcare is 'free', so demand is high. It'll always be underfunded, with wait times, as it vies with endless special interests. It's immoral to ban healthcare between consenting adults. End 'single payer' so free-market care can fill the supply gap, as it does in Europe.

Justin is sure to looking dreamy these days.
