SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In a discussion on Pod Meets World, which is hosted by Boy Meet World actors Friedle, Fishel, and Strong, Sennett revealed that he quit acting after nearly dying from a substance overdose. The actor-turned-musician said that substance issues were present for him during his time as an actor, but he didn't make a change until his near-death experience. Sennett has since become an accomplished musician, publishing four albums and numerous EPs and Singles.

During my time as an actor, I think I was struggling with some substance stuff. That stuff came to a head, let's say, and... Well, f*ck it. I almost died. So, I sort of got brought back to life. Upon this, I sort of came to, so to speak, the next day and was like, 'Well, I gotta figure something else out.' I was able to, with the help of things at our disposal these days, I was able to get help.

Friedle has become a prolific animated voice actor, voicing Batman in all three seasons of Batman Beyond, Ron Stoppable in Disney's Kim Possible, and various DC main characters and background voices.

Like many coming-of-age television series from that time, the Boy Meets World's cast will forever be remembered for their roles. With the addition of Pod Meets World, listeners can enjoy getting additional insights into the cast and the experience of filming the show. It's been more than 20 years since Boy Meets World came to an end, and thanks in part to its successful Girl Meet World sequel series, its relevance in popular culture has remained.
