Warrior Nun fans have brought the fight to Los Angeles, California, with fans of the cancelled Netflix show meeting up in front of a billboard they purchased outside Netflix's headquarters advertising their #SaveWarriorNun campaign. The billboard was purchased two weeks ago and placed near Netflix's headquarters in the hopes the streaming service would reverse their decision to cancel the fantasy action series back in December 2022.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In an image posted by Sarah on Twitter, supporters of Warrior Nun met up under the #SaveWarriorNun billboard, many wearing matching shirts bearing the hashtag. The tweet also shows off the billboard, which showcases series protagonist Ava and the halo in her back, alongside a "3" representing the season 3 fans are fighting for. The billboard is set to remain in LA for another two weeks.Why Warrior Nun Fans Are Still Fighting For Season 3 The billboard is LA is not the only billboard that fans of Warrior Nun have purchased in an attempt to revive the series for a season 3.
Warrior Nun is best known for being an action series that incorporates elements of fantasy and uses Christianity as a backdrop for the mythos it introduces. The show also has a number of strong female leads, with Ava, Mary, and other members of the Order of the Cruciform Sword forming a group of all-female warriors fighting against ancient evils and demons.
While it's unclear if Netflix would be willing to revive the series, some fans have been pushing for other streaming services like Apple TV+ to bring Warrior Nun back for season 3. The recent meet up at #SaveWarriorNun's LA billboard highlights the strong feelings of Warrior Nun supporters who want to see the show return. Given how long their campaign has gone on and with no sign of stopping, it would be no surprise if Warrior Nun season 3 came to fruition in the future.
