Alec Baldwin expected to be formally charged today in 'Rust' movie set shooting

The district attorney said through a spokeswoman Monday that her office will release charging documents and a statement of probable cause outlining the evidence. Hutchins' death already has led to new safety precautions in the film industry.

Prosecutors also said they will release the terms of a signed plea agreement with assistant director David Halls, who oversaw safety on the set. Seems to me the prosecutors are unsure of themselves. Rightfully so. Mr. Baldwin's attorneys are going to take this case apart. Not to forget about the public who are going to want answers as to why he was even charged in the first place.

It’s a shame this happened in California. He would have zero consequences in Illinois. ( oh wait a white man…. Death penalty)
