A chief constable turned the tables on thugs by using film of them spitting repeatedly at his officers to win public support to deploy controversial spit hoods against them.

Why not arrest (or better still, thump) those who spit at you rather than encourage them to carry on doing it why you protect yourself with a hood?

Cops in the states don’t have spit hoods. Not sure why.

When you take a job like that have to accept this kind of things which is going on, is not nice but have to accept it or go get another job

Safer than arresting them I suppose?
