An epic new piece of Disney fan art transforms TheIncredibles into their Marvel counterparts, making for a different kind of superhero family.

A different kind of superhero family is formed as The Incredibles are transformed into their Marvel counterparts in epic new fan art. Written and directed by Brad Bird, the Pixar superhero franchise launched in 2004 and revolved around the eponymous family of super-powered beings who struggle to enjoy an idyllic suburban life when family patriarch, Bob Parr, gets back into the superhero game and puts his whole family in danger.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Nearly five years after they were last seen on screen, new fan art from graphic designer Nick Tam on Instagram imagines The Incredibles transformed into their Marvel counterparts. View this post on Instagram A post shared by [redacted] The video acts as a timelapse of the Pixar superhero family being transformed into their Marvel counterparts, beginning with Mr. Incredible becoming Captain America followed by Elastigirl into Ms. Marvel, Dash into Quicksilver, Violet into the Scarlet Witch and Jack-Jack into Cyclops. Their villain, however, remains the same as Screenslaver from The Incredibles 2 looms over the superhero family in the background.

On top of being produced by animation powerhouse Pixar, one of the biggest reasons for The Incredibles' success was its subversive take on the superhero genre.

Will The Incredibles Ever Return? Despite the long-standing love for the property, it's very unclear whether The Incredibles will ever get another big-screen adventure. Writer-director Brad Bird did indicate that there were a number of cut story threads that could be explored in a potential third film, while stars Samuel L. Jackson and Sophia Bush have discussed their interests in returning at some point in the future.
