On this episode of The Construction Record podcast, digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with PCL Construction manager of special projects Ryan Kuntz and project manager Rob Mitschke about The Neoma, a 1950s office building in downtown Calgary which the company recently converted into affordable housing.
They also explained how they were able to use new technology such as laser scanning the interior so designers had an exact model of the building to work with before repurposing it into a series of residences, and focused on PCL’s collaboration with Calgary’s HomeSpace Society to bring the project to fruition.
