Booo, but also, whatever. Atlantic Plumbing is in town and they JUST opened a new fantastic Alamo cinema off Rhode Island, so let’s not go bemoaning the state of cinema in DC quite yet.

Very sad. I remember seeing the Gucci family film there; one of the few films I saw in recent years. When a young adult I mainly saw foreign films - & lots of them at a cinema on Conn. Ave & R St & at one of two cinemas in Georgetown. The pandemic killed cinemas & theaters
