Transgender people held a mass demonstration outside the gates of Downing Street on Wednesday evening in the wake of the Government’s controversial decision to block Scottish gender recognition reforms. The Bill, which had passed the Scottish Parliament with cross-party support by a vote of 88-33, would have made it easier for transgender people to update some documents to reflect their gender.have been questioned
