Capital Harmony Works, the home of Trenton Music Makers and Trenton Children’s Chorus, presents its annual community concert in Princeton, in honor of Martin Luther King Day and the National Day of Service.

Niño said her travels and experiences and acquired knowledge have filled for her a metaphorical bag.

The orchestra that Niño conducts is made up of fifty student/musicians ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 11 with diverse backgrounds, ethnicities and levels of learning. It has a stated vision for students “to learn to challenge themselves with rigor and excitement within an atmosphere of support and belonging.”

“I mean, I love Trenton Music Makers,” she said, “and yeah, I’m a little nervous, but not, really.
