'We all could all do with a little Dave in our lives'

BBC Breakfast viewers have called for Burnley's Bank of Dave owner to take over as presenter on the show.

The new film is based on Dave's life. It shows how he set up a loans company in his hometown and eventually became a self-made billionaire.Dave set up his own bank in 2011 to help inject life into local businesses and prove that banks can be socially responsible by donating profits to charity. When he was starting out, Dave promised to give 5% interest on savings and then use that money to lend to people struggling to secure loans from the big banks.
