5-mile hike with the naturalist forwill start Sunday at 1 p.m. at the White Rock Bay Trailhead, along the bone road trail. The naturalist will talk about the recent and distant past of the Great Salt Lake, on a hike that is family friendly and OK for leashed dogs. Icy and muddy trail conditions are possible, but snowshoes will not be necessary, according to the park. The hike is free, but regular park entry fees apply.
