BBC One viewers said they had their Christmas "ruined" after Mrs Brown's Boys aired its Christmas Day special. The audience took to social media to vent their frustrations - fuming that the show has "had it's day."
One person wrote: "Absolutely unfunny pig swill TV." Another commented: "Worst ever episode of MrsBrownsBoys Please BBC - it’s had it’s day."Another fumed: "Mrs Browns boys should be removed from existence." One 'fan' said: "I've never seen a worse show than Mrs Browns boys... absolutely catastrophic stuff."
However, since the show began audiences have been divided and the programme has often had unfavourable comparisons to Father Ted. Despite the often unwelcome reception, the comedy has been an unexpected success in Ireland and the UK.
I laughed!
It's a comedy show to make people laugh like just leave it, no need for this shit
Used to be a newspaper with journalists not kids with Facebook
It's absolutely crap. It's had it's day. It's certainly helping the defund BBC campaign. Paying tax for this is an actual joke, unlike the programme.
