My Hero Academia live-action movie heads to Netflix with Obi-Wan writer

The story zeroes in on superhero fanboy Izuku Midoriya aka Deku, who was born without a special ability, known as"quirk". In a world where 80% of the population have manifested an exceptional trait, Midoriya is an outsider and sees his dreams to attend the prestigious hero training academy U.A. High School crushed.

Coming to terms with not ever becoming the next All Might – the greatest hero the world has ever known – Midoriya has a chance encounter with All Might himself. Inspired, the protagonist promises to work hard to become a beacon of hope for humankind, whether he develops a special power or not.
