A host of families have claimed their Christmases have been ruined by receiving 'rotten' turkeys from supermarket giants across the UK.
One of the turkeys, which had black and blue stains underneath its skin, has even been compared to the famous film alien, ET. Sophie Whike shared a picture of the turkey on Twitter and wrote: "Literally what the hell is this. Just defrosted my Turkey from @LidlGB."Christmas ruined. It's Xmas eve - this is actually a joke. Not only is there no meat, the house smells of rotten meat - not acceptable."One Twitter user said: "What the bloody hell @sainsbury.
"Very disappointing considering it would've been the centerpiece." Sainsbury's responded by saying they will look into the complaint. More unhappy customers wrote: "Thank you @LidlGB for nearly ruining our xmas! Turkey crown bought had gone off. Absolutely vile."

I doubt kids are crying over not eating bland turkey.
Kids are only interested in their presents, they don't care what they eat.
The weans are greetin 👀
