Sorokin’s passionate fanbase is what drew Guo to sign her up. “I put up an Instagram story of us FaceTiming, and so many young women reached out, saying, ‘That's my idol. She's an icon,’ which surprised me,” says Guo. “But that made me realize that Passes was actually a great platform for her. She could tell her story and her perspective and how she's moving on—hopefully without scamming people.
